The initial subscription period extension for two new sub-funds
According to prospectus of Sparinvest SICAV and based on the decision of the Board of Directors of Sparinvest SICAV, the initial subscription period for the following sub-funds will be extended until 3 September 2024.

Risk appetite returned in June
Optimism among investors was evident in June, when global equity markets saw broad-based increases. All 11 Global Industry Classification Standard sectors (such as Information Technology, Health Care, Real Estate and Communication Services) saw progress with Consumer Discretionary at the top of the return hierarchy, up 9.9%, and Utilities at the bottom, up 2.3%. In June, Information Technology generated a return of 5.7%. Investors were attracted to the sector because of the focus on AI. Overall, MSCI ACWI increased by 5.8% measured in local currencies, while the index increased by 3.1% measured in DKK.

Inflation fears overshadowed by growth fears in June - risk aversion dominated
The financial markets shifted focus in June. Inflation fears dominated at first, but were overshadowed by growth fears towards the end of the period. This shift was reflected in government bond returns; the Danish 10Y government bond yield rose from 1.5% at the beginning of June to 2.1% on 21 June and then dropped to 1.7% at the end of June.
